Fay has nineteen years experience in students support services in Higher Education. Fay is responsible for the delivery of Advice & Support at Keele, ASK. ASK delivers advice, information and representation to students studying at Keele, ASK deals with over 1000 cases annually. Fay serves on a number university committees. Fay has experience in managing a range of projects and diverse teams. Fay is a member of NASMA, the National Association of Student Money Advisors. Fay has delivered training on a wide range of topics including reverse culture shock, confidentiality, the Higher Education Achievement Report, aspects of housing law and the findings from a research project she coordinated about the experience of international students. Fay has previously published in practitioners' handbooks and most recently co-written ‘Investigation of International Students’ Perception of ‘Community’ in a British Higher Education Institute’ for the Journal of Perspectives in Applied Academic Practice. Fay is a qualified Mental Health First Aid trainer.
