Jude Hawes: Specialist Services and Equalities Team Manager, Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke on Trent

Jude has worked for SNSCAB for 27 years, 1984 to 1992 and 1997 to the present.  She currently manages:

·         Specialist Advice Teams: Welfare Benefits, housing, immigration and employment.

·         Equalities Teams: asylum advice and hate crime projects.

·         Victims Services: Staffordshire Victim Gateway and Staffordshire Restorative Justice Hub.

Jude graduated from Keele University in 1979 with a BA Hons in Sociology and Applied Social Studies and a Diploma in Applied Social Studies. 

From 1979 to 1983 she worked for the Ockenden Venture as a Resettlement Officer on the Vietnamese Refugee Programme.

From 1992 to 1997 she was Deputy Dean of Students at Keele University.
